Farm Fresh Florida
The Concept:
Farm Fresh Florida is an online marketplace designed to connect Floridians with fresh, locally sourced produce and artisan goods.
Inspired by the community spirit of farmer's markets, the platform aims to provide a space where local growers and artisans can showcase their weekly offerings, allowing customers to place orders online for convenient delivery.
This year-long project is a collaborative effort as part of my Senior Capstone workshop course, which guides teams through the entire development cycle of a project—from branding and brainstorming , to ideation and prototyping, and eventually high-fidelity design and final documentation.
The Backstory:
As someone managing chronic pain, I know the frustration of wanting to explore my local farmer’s market but not always being physically able. This inspired me to consider others who may also face barriers to accessing unique, local produce and artisan goods, whether due to health, location, or time constraints.
I conceived the FloridaFresh project around my passion for supporting local markets and my desire to make the farmer’s market experience more accessible to everyone. Built with the goal of helping Floridians access fresh, sustainable products, Farm Fresh brings the seasonal, local market experience to people who can’t always attend in person.

Farm Fresh’s Development:
We are currently nearing the end of our first semester working on this project together and are wrapping up on the development phase. Throughout the semester, we’ve established the project’s concept,
We’ll begin usability testing soon and are finishing up our final strategy guide for the project.
My Contributions:
For our Senior Capstone project, we formed groups and each group member had to submit an idea for the project, from which our Professor would choose one that he deems the most viable for us to work on all year together.
Farm Fresh Florida was the idea that I submitted - and I’m overjoyed that we’re bringing it to life as a team. It’s a project close to my heart, inspired by personal experiences that make it especially meaningful to me.
I spearheaded the design of our Low Fidelity prototype for Farm Fresh based on the wireframes that my peer created for the website’s pages.
I’m currently leading the design team for our High Fidelity prototype and will be assisting the team in the usability testing stage.
